8 August 2018: We received an update from Kate Schecter, President and CEO of World Neighbors about the recent series of earthquakes in Lombok, Indonesia and nearby Bali.
Our NRF Benevolence Committee responded quickly and we have already sent a donation to assist World Neighbors in their disaster relief. 100% of the donation is sent directly to their partners in Indonesia to help in the Lombok recovery effort. More than 140 people have died and ~20,000 homes are destroyed. Please continue to keep these people and their grief in your prayers. For more information visit https://www.wn.org/deadly-earthquake-lombok-indonesia/
